Karen Schoepflin Hagen grew up in Viola, ID, on a dairy farm with her musically and artistically talented family. In her adult years, she has lived in Genesee, Idaho, with her husband Dave, and her son Andy. She began her quilting adventure in 1975 and continues to the day. Karen has completed hundreds of pieces of her work, all of which are works of art. An interesting fact about Karen is that she does not sell her quilts; she shares her extraordinary works of art with everyone instead! Each one of Karen's quilts has an extraordinary story attached to each and every one of them. After your visit, you will leave the museum with a special understanding of Karen's inspirational pieces and sources.
A special wall is dedicated to our featured guests. This exhibit is changed out periodically and features quilts and artists from around the area. You won't want to miss the next featured guest!
